Itinerary

Day 1Arrival

On Arrival, our Representative will greet you; he will wait you holding sign of Abou el Houl Tours. He will assist you through your Egypt entry visa process if required, then you will moved to your hotel.

Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2Cairo – Egyptian Museum & Great Pyramids

Firstly, you will be waiting by our expert to tour guide as you will be transferred by private air-conditioned car to begin your amazing day by visiting The Egyptian Museum, containing the world’s most extensive collection of pharonic antiquities where you can also feel the power of the beautiful artifacts and the magic of Ancient Egypt.

In total the museum exhibits some 150,000 artifacts which tell us 5 Thousands years of ancient civilization .The most famous masterpieces at the museum {Collection of King Tutankhamun –Queen Hatshepsut –King Akhenaten }

Then you will be amazed by visiting The Giza Pyramids as Giza plateau is the most important archeological site in the world because it houses The Great Pyramid one of ancient seven wonder as it was constructed around [2580 -2560 BC], The Great Sphinx the most recognizable construction in the history as it was sculptured from sand stone, shaping lion body with a face of king, built during king khafre reign.

The valley temple attributed to king Chephren as it was served for two functions Firstly the purification of the mummy before its burial, Secondly it was used for making the Mummification process of the king.

Day 3Nile Cruise - Aswan

We will transfer you by air-condition vehicle from your hotel to the domestic airport in order to departure to Aswan.

Our Egyptologist tour guide will wait your arrival to join him during the whole day to see and enjoy the amazing treasures of Aswan.

Firstly, you will visit The High Dam of Aswan which is one of the most important achievements & symbol of the revolution era “1952”.Today it provides Egypt with water, electricity and secures the country from the risk of the destructive inundation of the Nile River.

THE NEXT STOP will be at Philae Temple that located on Philae Island, in the middle of the Nile River. The ancient Egyptians built a magnificent temple for the Goddess ISIS &it has a huge pylons decorated with beautiful scenes.

After the ending of this great tour you will be transferred to your Cruise accommodation sailing to Edfu.

Day 4Nile Cruise – Edfu

Your tour guide will be waiting for you at the cruise.

First you will visit the outstanding Temple of Horus in Edfu. Then back to the cruise to sail to KomOmbo to visit the temple used by both gods Sobek and Haroeies.

In the evening the cruise has a Galabya party. Cruise will sail to Aswan.

Day 5Nile Cruise - Edfu

Our licensed Egyptologist Tour guide will Join you to visit one of the most beautiful and preserved temples in Upper Egypt {Edfu Temple or Temple of god Horus}.It dates back to Ptolemaic era and its size reflects the relative prosperity of that time.

This temple dedicated to Falcon God Horus and Hathor of Dandera as it was the centre of several festivals sacred to Horus .Each year “Godess Hathour travelled south from her temple at Dendera to visit God Horus at Edfu” which was considered the sacred marriage.

Then back to the cruise to sails to Luxor, while you can enjoy the top decks amazing views of the Nile River.

In the evening the cruise has a Galabya party.

Day 6Sharm El Sheikh

Enjoy breakfast on the cruise after that you will be transferred to the domestic Airport in time for your departure to Sharm Elsheikh.

Once you arrived to Sharm Elsheikh you will be transferred to your accommodation hotel by air-conditioned vehicle.

Day 6 Option *Luxor East Bank Tour.

The East Bank Of The Nile where is the centre of the town and the most popular temples as Karnak Temple & Luxor Temple.

Karnak Temple consists of many temples that were built over a number of years. You can see through your visit their The Hypostyle Hall, filled with 134 gigantic stone columns, The Great Court, Rameses the 3rd chapel, Thutmosis the 2nd Hall ,The Sacred Lake & Two Obelisks belongs to Queen Hatshepsut and king Thutmosis 1st .

Luxor Temple, That dates from around 1392 BC. It is close to the Nile laid out parallel to the river bank .This temple has been in almost continuous use as a place of worship as The Hypostyle Hall of the temple was converted in to A Christian Church during the Christian Era.

After that we will visit the Birth Room, The Chapel of Alexander The Great, The Sanctuary, Pylon of Ramses the 2nd and Court of Ramses the 2nd.

Day 6 Option 2* Hot Air Balloon (approx. 30-45min) / Drift over the Valley of Kings.

Note* Flights from Luxor/Sharm El Sheikh (via Cairo airport).

Day 7Sharm El Sheikh – Open Day

Day 7 Option* St. Catherine Monastery Tour.

at St. Catherine Monastery, identified as the oldest Christian monastery in the world built in the site where Prophet Moses talked to God. The legend of St. Catherine of Alexandria has many tales, in the end she was put to death by order of the Emperor because of her new faith.

Once the tour is complete you will be transferred back to your hotel by private air-conditioned car in Sharm El Sheikh.

Day 8Sharm El Sheikh – Open Day

Day 8 Option* Ras Mohamed Tour.

Ras Mohamed is the best kept national park and one of the famous diving sites in the world, as it is located between the rich coral reefs of the Red Sea & the desert of Sinai.

Beneath the crystal clear waters of the Red Sea you will find coral reefs and you might spot dolphins.

Diving is allowed in designated area only and we must leave the park by sunset.

Due to its geographical position, divers find almost permanent storing current during all the year which attracts larger fish.

Day 9Cairo – Open Day

Your tour guide will be waiting for you at the hotel, ready to transfer you to the domestic airport to take your flight to Cairo.

Day 9 Option* Citadel & Old Cairo Day Tour. Your expert tour guide will be waiting for you at your hotel to travel to Cairo by a private air-conditioned car.

Our first stop will be at visiting The Citadel Of Saladin as it is one of the greatest monuments “Islamic Fortress”. The Citadel was built by Salah Eldin around 1183 AD to defend his armies against the Crusaders armies and to become the center of his of his government in Egypt for about 700 years until Khedive Ismail moved the government center to Abdin Palace.

Then you will visit Mohammed Ali Alabaster Mosque which is one of the historical landmarks of Egypt as it stands proudly on the highest point inside The Citadel Of Saladin. It was founded by Mohammed Ali Pasha 1805 AD.

Finally, A visit to OLD CAIRO to see the most famous Coptic Church in Cairo “The Hanaging Church” as well as the first built in Basilican style. It dates from the 9th century while the site dates to the 3rd century. The church has 110 icons, The Oldest of which dates to the 18th century. Its name comes from the fact that it was built on the southern gate of the Roman fortress.

Our second visit at Old Cairo will be for “Abu Serga Church” as its significant historical importance as the Holy Family rested there during their Journey to Egypt. The church was burned during the fire of Fustat and it was restored during the 8th century.

The last monument will be visit at Old Cairo will be “Ben Ezra Synagogue” where the JEWS assemble to receive teachings & make their prayers to god. This current building dates back 1892.

Synagogue once had an old copy of The Old Testament. There is a believe that on this site, the box of Mouses was found. This synagogue received an extensive restoring until it reached its present state.

Day 10Cairo – Memphis & Sakkara

Firstly , you will be amazed by visiting Memphis which was the capital of ancient Egypt for several centuries and an important center for political administration & religion.

The remains of ancient Mempgis could be appear on the largest limestone statue of King Ramses the 2nd , our Egyptologist tour guide will reveal you the story of Memphis where Alexander the Great was crowned at the temple of god Ptah.

While our following stop will be at Saqqara,The most extensive archaeological site in Egypt where the Step Pyramid Of King Zoser is dominated. This site attracted a large number of royal & high burials.The Step Pyramid was the tomb of King Zoser and it is considered to be the earliest major stone structure erected in Egypt, surrounded by the tombs of his nobles and officials.

Tomb of Mereruka which features a unique paintings for the daily activities in ancient Egypt like {fishing, inspicting workmen for the goldsmith & necklaces}

Tomb of Kagemni , That was discovered in 1893 and its walls have an attractive scenes featuring{Dancing girls , Hunting in the marches and cattle crossing ford}

Pyramid of Teti the 1st”The ruler of the 6th dynasty”.

Mastaba of Ti as it is one of the best decorated examples of funerary architecture in Egypt.

Pyramid of Unas the last king of the 5th dynasty, it’s central chamber are covered with inscriptions called “The Pyramid Texts” the oldest known Egyptian religious texts.

Imhotep’s Museum which dedicated to the Egyptian architect Imhotep {the builder of the step pyramid of king Zoser}.
The serapeum houses the rock-cut underground burial chambers of the Apis bulls, The sacred bull of God Ptah. Twenty of these chambers are still contain the sarcophagus of the Apis bull mummy

Our last stop will be at Dahshur, home of the ever first complete Pyramid. The excavations of Dahshur revealed the remains of 7 Pyramids &Tomb complexes,2 of these Pyramids have been completely destroyed by times such as the Black Pyramid.

While the Red Pyramid & the Bent Pyramid are a massive evidence of the architectural development that lead to the construction of the Great Pyramid. Both were constructed by king Senfru{The Father of King Khufu}

The Bent Pyramidis called “The transitional Pyramid” because the angle of its sites changes due to an engineering crisis during construction.

The second Pyramid at the site is the Red Pyramid which was the first smooth sided pyramid ever constructed and also the 3rd largest pyramid after the Pyramids of Khufu & Khafre.
