You will descend through the Judean hills en route to the Judean desert. You will stop to take in the view at the Good Samaritan Inn, a Turkish style structure built in the 19th century.

This site is visited by everyone but is especially relevant for Christian tourists who want to visualize the Biblical story setting as if Jesus had been telling a true story instead of a parable.

You will continue your drive through the desert until you reach your destination – Masada. You will ascend to this renowned site by cable car to tour the 2000-year-old fortress and palace built by King Herod.

Drive past the Ein Gedi kibbutz and nature reserve and then on to Qumran, where you will tour the caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered.
Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to bathe in the mineral-rich Dead Sea – at 400m. below sea level, the lowest place on earth.
