Day 1: Departure From Tel Aviv or Jerusalem to Jordan & Tour in Jerash

Departure from Jerusalem or Tel Aviv. You will be picked up from a pre-arranged rendezvous point and will be transferred to the border crossing. On the way, you will pass by the ancient Israeli city of Beit Shean.

After clearing immigration and customs, you will be met by one of our multi-lingual Jordanian representatives who will drive you from the border station at the Sheikh Hussein Bridge to the significant Roman archaeology site, Jerash for a visit to the well-preserved ruins of this great Roman City (approximately 2 hours*); then proceed to Petra for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Full Day Tour in Petra and Over Night in Amman

After breakfast at the hotel, you will begin your morning tour, and spend a full day touring Petra, one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

This excursion will last for *5-6 hours at Petra, also known as the “Red Rose City”, which was originally inhabited by the Nabateans.

The tour includes horseback riding through the “Ciq” (Canyon), which merges with a captivating view of the Pink Stone Treasury, the Roman Theater and more.

Transfer to Amman for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: 4X4 Tour in Wadi Rum & City Tour in Aqaba – Overnight in Amman

You will enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel, and then you will be driven through the desert along the desert highway on your way to visit Wadi Rum Nature Reserve for 2 hours. This reserve is also known as The Valley of the Moon. “Rum” comes from the Arabic meaning “high” or “elevated”. It is a valley etched into granite and sandstone and located approximately 60 KM East of Aqaba. Along the way to this destination, you will enjoy stark and untouched desert landscapes that glisten in the shimmering heat.

When you arrive at the nature reserve, you will be met by a professional, licensed guide who will take you on a two hour 4X4 Jeep tour which will cover all of the highlights of this renowned vacation spot. After you finish the jeep tour, you will continue on along the desert highway for a brief visit to Aqaba City – the Red Sea Resort; then you will transfer to Amman for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Full Day Tour in Amman, Madaba & Mt.Nebo and Return to Tel Aviv or Jerusalem

After breakfast at the hotel, you will proceed to a vehicular sightseeing tour of Amman: this will include views of the Amphitheater and the Citadel.

You will also pay a visit to the Folklore Museum and view the Ancient Map of the Holyland in Madaba, then you will continue to Mt. Nebo to enjoy a panoramic view of the Land of Israel as the prophet Moses did according to the traditions of the Abrahamic religions.

Afternoon proceed to the Sheik Hussein Bridge (Jordan River) border crossings and after completing border procedures, transfer to Tel Aviv or Jerusalem.
